Johann Baptist Stilmaier was very known – beyond München’s city boarders – as an artist
in the 19th century.
His achievements inspired the city fathers to name a square at the heart of München after him. And we ourselves were enthused by his life and arts.
This makes our model STIGLMAIER an homage to the art of the past, the present and the future in general and to the competence in style in particular.
This “Black Beauty” does not gallop with its flowing mane over an open field – therefore our black beauties are as good looking and graceful. The black oak especially grows in the East of Northern America. And enjoys – because of its dark-brown to black colour – great popularity.
The black oak we use is very durable but also a lightweight that fascinates by its grace and can easily be processed and shaped by machine or hand.
